To address the charging challenges faced by residents of new energy vehicles, a city launched a special campaign to "bring charging stations into communities," planning to add 2,000 charging stations to communities this year. Currently, the first batch of 500 AC charging stations has been put into use in more than 30 older residential communities, adopting a "centralized construction + decentralized layout" model suitable for different scenarios such as underground garages and open-air parking spaces. The charging stations support QR code charging and card payment, and are equipped with safety devices such as overload protection, lightning protection, and explosion-proof features. Statistics show that since the implementation of the campaign, the average waiting time for charging in communities has been reduced by 40%, effectively meeting residents' daily charging needs and receiving widespread praise from citizens.
